…Excited that is.  Why? Many Reasons really.

  1. Many props being created and added helps us immerse you in Raccoon City
  2. New Concepts for potential storyline elements.
  3. ‘Worry areas’ revisited, now updated with new props, newer layout, adjustments, lighting fixes etc.
  4. New infected concepts (common zombies only)
  5. L4D2 Demo
  6. ITS SO MUCH FUN!

A lot of areas of the RPD have been troubling us, even some of you noticed some areas you thought they were a little ‘off’. Yes some areas might look different, but when you are playing in VS and able to view the building from any angle you desire, you  will understand that some changes have been made. A lot of areas that had been constructed a while ago had been left in a limbo state. An Example would be the parking lot in the RPD. As many of you noticed that its not exactly how it should be. A Reason being that early into the year, it used to hold a test crescendo event where you had to push a van out the way until the horde had stopped coming.  Many areas surrounding this both above and beside it had been added, pushing things out of proportion. This was soon removed and swapped out with the helipad event, however the parking lot remained. We have only a few more areas that have been sticking out like a sore thumb to address, then we will have some screenshots for you.

The Helipad is also being refurbished as well to eliminate issues with camping players into areas that i cant do anything about without people saying “thats not in RE2″

I’ve made the best changes to help with level design as i can and also to stay true to the original game, I hope that you enjoy when its all finished.

The L4D2 demo isnt far away, which is great news because you can bet the first console command i load will be map l4d_bioh4zard2_rpd and give it a whirl. Unfortunately it wont be finished before L4D2 and was never going to be. But we will keep working as hard as we can and whenever we can to get it finished. If time drags on too far, we’ll see about any sort of demo access.

We have a few screenshots coming soon, updated poster and also some sweet renders.
