Q:Is this a mod?
A:No, we intend to provide custom content for the campaign such as models, textures etc, but we will not be changing the zombie speed or replacing the hunter with a licker or anything like that, we are aiming to re-create Resident Evil 2 in a new universe, not recreate Left4Dead in Resident evil 2
Q: Will there be music from the game?
A:No, speaking from experience attempting to mix game sounds creates a clutterd mess and no-one wants to hear serenity music when a horde strikes. We are not providing any server scripts, but if you do have one on your server, I’m sure it would sound cool, but also be highly illegal. Resident evil 2 soundtrack is copyright Capcom by its wonderful composers Masami Ueda, Shusaku Uchiyama & Syun Nishigaki. We respect thier work, and so should you!
Q: Why no Public Beta?
A: We want you guys to enjoy the full thing, fully tweaked, balanced and finished to ensure you are completely satisfied with the result. We hate it if we had to release new versions each month fixing tiny little things that our bug testers can help us balance.
Q: Did i see your campaign on ***.com or ***.co.uk?
A: You might have done, although this is very old content and most of the layout / original designs have been scrapped and re-worked to fit the campaign better. Updated information can be seen on the trailers page and further backstory on the about section
Q: When can we expect a release date?
A: We work very hard in perfecting the campaign and cannot wait to see it released just as much as you do! We spend each living second working on it, each sleeping second dreaming of new ideas. Our beta testers help us get closer to our goal, and our modelers / texturers help us too. If our team was to expand, then obviously it would speed up the process since I wouldnt have to stop doing one thing to model something else. If you cannot appriciate that this takes us time to get it looking and playing well, please try to understand our goals & our time limits before you dismiss us.

Q. Can i donate money?
A: No thank you, this is a free project, made in free-time. We do not get / never will get any financial gain from this project as the original content belongs to Capcom. We are using this on the basis that it is free and we do not charge people to play it, or contribute. This is the safe way to play things in order to maintain development.
Q: Wait, your campaign is named Biohafoorzardto?
A: If you read it that way, I suppose it is. It was a name quickly thought up of, biohazard2.com is already registered. It quickly got stuck in everyone’s mind and spread from news site to site of the campaign. I Felt that changing it would most likely cause confusion, but it grows on you.
Q. What about the new VPK tools? What will they bring?
A. The VPK tools allows all external maps, materials and models to packaged into a single download(i.e bioh4zard2.vpk)
This means that we will be able to supply new VTF files for infected common zombies, without replacing them, so hopefully you should see us begin development on RPD infected. We plan on attempting to make other ones that look like RE2 Zombies, possibly even the creepy nude ones towards the end in the labs.
Q. When can we expect a public beta of any sort?
A. Unfortunatley, we do not plan on releasing a public beta of any kind. We are testing the campaign internally and making sure it is fully playable, balanced and fun for the full release. We wouldnt like to let you play a few maps, then stop and have to wait a few months for the next one to come out. We’d like to let you play the full thing. Of Course this time will come around faster, if we get more people on the team!
Q. What Changes will L4D2 bring to Bioh4zard2? *NEW*
A. We are not sure yet, we have some initial ideas of how to change some of our events to the L4d2 style “moving events” and will be figuring out a way to get a Gauntlet Ending if needed. The new infected should work right away with no / little configuration changes. I don’t expect any kind of major engine update for L4d2, so everything should be fine. We will of course eventually have a VPK for L4D2 with chainsaws etc & the new unreleased gamemode.
